Archive services
Our main priorities are acquiring and preserving moving image content for the future and providing public access to the collections in a number of ways.
We host regular films shows around the region. These shows can be tailored to feature films relevant to your community or interests. Full event listings for the near future can be found here. Archive staff can also provide talks and behind the scenes tours of the collections vaults for small groups.
Students and researchers are welcome to visit the archive to view the collections free of charge but we do ask that you contact us in advance. 48 hours notice is the minimum amount of time required in order to acclimatise and prepare film for viewing.
The archive can provide training in film handling and film archive skills to Teesside University students and members of the public who volunteer with us.
